Topic How to add an email account to Outlook Express
Solution
  1. Before you get started, you may need to contact your email service provider for the following information. The type of email server you use, POP3 (most Email accounts), HTTP (like Hotmail) or IMAP.
  2. You will need to know your account name and password.
  3. Start Outlook Express
  4. Click on Tools
  5. Click on Accounts (If the Internet Connection Wizard pop up, go to step 7)
  6. Click on Add
  7. Click on Mail. In the Name field, type in your name as you want it to appear when you send and email. Click next.
  8. On the Internet Explorer Address field, type in you email address. Click next
  9. On the Email Server Names page, fill in the field with information you received from your ISP provider in step 1. Click next
  10. On the Internet log on page, type your account name and password
  11. If you are concerned with privacy for your email, be sure Save Password is un-ticked you will have to re-enter your password when retrieving email
  12. Click next, then Finish.
  13. You are now ready to send and receive email.
